What an amazing weekend it was at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. Two days spent with fitness guru Tony Horton. We worked out, talked about the nutrition, challenged our body and minds to brake all personal records of endurance and mental strength. This man is so charismatic, has the most amazing powerful voice, stage presence but foremost he gets the best fitness version out of you. I was so fortunate to share these special moments, pick his brain through this lovely conversion. His generosity and down to earth style gets you into the zone of making impossible very real. He got me so addicted and excited to follow his PX90 fitness program and life philosophy that now I can’t leave without it.

He is a three dimensional trainer, where short but intense workouts from his popular series of PX90 workout programs guarantee staggering results for everyone who gives it a try. I was so amazed to witness how 55+ years old women were passing me with their physical strength, stamina and mental toughness during the 3 challenges we did. First one was a position  of planque, second seating chair pose against the wall and last yoga tree pose. If you think its easy try to beat those records of passing 20 minutes in each pose. I guarantee you won’t. My best result was in a tree pose where I lasted over 14 minutes. The mussels fire and burn, the pain is excruciation, your mind is racing in all directions during this physical test but Tony gets you going overcoming those mental blocks. We were all supporting each other and kicking butts!!! This energy and encouragement will stay with me for a long time.

Who is to say that exercising has to be such an irritating and unattractive experience? I’ve learned to switch my mind from viewing a workout as a nuisance by rather using it as an opportunity to dress and look the part. By having the right outfit to wear for a workout it becomes less about the sweat and more about the style! Without having my vibrant and fashionable gear for inspiration, I wouldn’t have been able to keep up with such a healthy and fit lifestyle. I have developed a new interest in Soul Cycling, Physique 57as well as competing in challenges that have pushed my body’s fitness levels past what I thought they could do. By looking fitness ready you will ultimately feel like no workout is impossible. When slipping on my favorite Lulu Lemon tank top and comfy Beyond Yoga pants I always feel prepared to conquer whatever activity lies ahead of me.

New trends in fitness wear make it easier to mentally prepare for the conditioning to come and they motivate me to squeeze into those tight yet trendy workout clothes. Bright colors, bold patterns, and sexy cutouts are just some of the many upcoming styles that make any session in the gym a way to show off your hard earned figure. Everyone has their own personal workout identity including their favorite labels to help them look like a fitness master. Project flat stomach this summer

FOOTBALL-16Are you tired of hiding your belly under baggy tops? YES! Are you tired of buying pants a size too big to cover up your love handles? YES! So, are you ready to eliminate your belly and have a flat stomach? YESSS! If you really want to eliminate your muffin top for good and win an elusive six-pack, follow these steps and make it happen.

Your body is like a chain; the best way of burning that belly fat is by working all of your muscles groups in order to get that killer six-pack.  Don’t concentrate on doing just abs or crunches, work on every muscle of your body to strengthen your body and burn calories.

Secondly, start balancing on the palm of your hand and balls of your feet, that way you will core abdominal muscles, practice balance, and strengthen your chest and back muscles.

My third step is the toughest battle, eliminating love handles. The best way of getting rid of them is by doing side-bench stretch. Although they will not be removed 100%, you will break down the fat that is build in that zone of your body.

The following step and one of the most important: the food! Eliminate preservatives and focus on eating whole, quality, organic foods rich in nutrients. Beans and legumes, berries, and nuts are three great foods that help you burn fat more rapidly. So prepare a snack before heading to the gym with one of these three foods, and don’t be scare to alternate them.

This next step may be challenging for some of you, eliminating alcohol and sugar. Alcohol is your worst enemy, it contains estrogen that holds onto the weight and stimulates your appetite. Ergo eliminate it until you’ve achieved your health goal.

Our last step is to reduce sodium intake and up water intake. By reducing and eliminating sodium intake, you reduce the chances of bloating and water retention. And this is no brainer; drink 8 or more glasses of water a day.

By eating healthy, doing at least 45 minutes of exercise a day, and following these simple steps you will win that body you’ve always dreamed of faster than a heartbeat. These tips will help you shed inches and pounds, banish the bloat, and feel even more beautiful. Hello, skinny jeans!

Dorade Espagnole Simply delicious

Impress your Friends & Family with this Simple Quick Delicious Fish, perfect for Lunch or Dinner and add some extra Gluten Free Natural Mila Omega 3

You will need: Beautiful silver platter, fresh Dorade  and good appetite!

 Ingredients:

2 Fresh Dorade 600g per person (aprox.1.3lb per person).

You will loose some more weight when removing the bones. Make sure your fish is fresh, skin has a nice shine, sharp eye sight, and the head is easy to separate by knife. Also make sure the blood has a vibrant red color.

Recipe

Flake and cut the fish in half with clean wiped belly without separating it.  Gently smear some olive oil all over and sprinkle with fleur de sel (big pieces salt) . Put into the baking tray to pre-heated oven for 7minutes on each side in 425F temperature.

Slice garlic and cook in 20cl (aprox 7oz almost one glass) olive oil over medium heat. The secret to not to burn garlic is it to start cooking it in cold oil. Add small piece of red spicy espelette pepper to add flavor as shown in the picture above. Cook gently until garlic will start to shrink due to the water absorption and will change into nice light brownish color. Remove garlic when ready and put it on paper towel to absorb access of oil. Keep the remaining cooked oil for the final sauce glaze.  Chop parsley into fine pieces.

Once Dorade is cooked. Its important to place it into metallic platter as shown.  (All fish should always be served on the metallic platters). Open and separate it to fillet throughly getting rid of all bones. Put more fleur de sel and sprinkle over Piment d’espellete powder, add parsley, sliced cooked garlic, sherry vinegar, and finally glaze and cover everything with warm olive oil of garlic to complete this delicious dish.

Dinner, lunch is served!

I have learned from Sylwia that fitness is more then just exercise, and eating right.
